Yellowish-green tubular flowers.

A Bolivian columnar cactus with branched stems densely covered in thin, translucent white-yellow spines, creating a "glassy" look. Bears striking orange-red tubular flowers against its unique spination.

Peruvian shrubby cactus with prostrate stems divided into oval segments. Dense areoles bear thin radial spines (pink-yellow-brown) and 1-3 longer central spines (up to 3cm). Distinctive zygomorphic blood-red flowers create a striking visual contrast.
