Trichocereus

This is a dwarf form of trichocereus that branches profusely from the base. It can form large mounds with dozens of branches in a few years. Reminiscent of a great chamaecereus silvestris. Beautiful and easy to grow.

Fiercely columnar cactus develops into a multi-stemmed shrub or small tree. Spines yellowish with brown tips up to 5-7 cm long, often stout. Flowers nocturnal 14 cm long, white.

Trichocereus candicans has short thick stems with yellow to yellow-brown spines up to 10 cm long. In habitat eventually forms a large clump 1 to 3 m across. Flowers showy, white on the inside with yellow centers and pinkish on the outside, very large 18-2
