Using cold-resistant Echinoceres as rootstocks, specimens with an appearance very similar to natural plants are obtained. These plants can be grown in a cold greenhouse without the use of heating. They require well-draining soil, lots of light, and moving air. They only need water during their growing season, but the plant soil should dry out completely between waterings. Do not water at all during dormancy.
