Pleiospilos

This is s a mimicry plant know as "African living rock" or “Splits rock” because it imitates split chunks of granite (especially if grown in full blazing sun) It resemble stones so closely that it can only be found with difficulty.

Thick broad gaping leaves .

Miniature clusters of tiny flat leaves.

Pleiospilos nelii is a nearly stemless plant with one or more pairs of opposite, almost hemispherical, grey-green or brownish leaves. The surface of the leaves has many small dark spots. The daisy-like flowers are yellow-orange, 6–7.5 cm across.
