A caudiciform tree growing up to 3+ meters tall, Boswellia popoviana develops a thick, gnarled trunk reaching 25 cm across. Native only to Socotra, it thrives on sheer cliffs and massive boulders inaccessible to grazing goats. Its rugged, twisted growth makes it an excellent candidate for bonsai culture.
