Round dark green body, whitish radial spines, longer darke curved central spine. In culture Coryphantha pallida is without problems and regularly shows its large pale yellow flowers.

In its juvenile stage, the plant bears only numerous radial spines; upon maturing, its look transforms significantly, with fewer radials and the emergence of distinctive central spines.
