Dorstenia crispa is an odd caudiciform with lanceolate, textured leaves (deciduous in winter) and a woody caudex. Its distinctive "disc flowers" are unmatched among succulents: petal-less green, and with star-shaped appendages. A must-have for collectors of peculiar plants.

Thrives in well-drained soil with sparse watering.
