SPECIAL PLANT
This Turbinicarpus pseudopectinatus, formerly known as Pelecyphora pseudopectinata, is a compact cactus native to northeastern Mexico. Its tiny size is balanced by great detail: its round green body is covered in fine white pectinate spines, arranged in a precise and beautiful pattern. What truly sets it apart is the size and brightness of its flowers—striking pink with yellow centers, often blooming repeatedly throughout the season.
Fun fact:
In habitat, this cactus is nearly invisible, blending perfectly with rocky soil and lichens—a true master of camouflage in the wild.
Cultivation:
Loves small pots and mineral-rich, very fast-draining soil. Water only when fully dry. Needs full sun and good airflow. In winter, keep completely dry. Extremely drought-tolerant but sensitive to excess humidity.
