Grey-green stem, long greyish to yellow-brown spines. Flower pink to purple.

Flattened stems with wide, polygonal-rounded (hexagonal or pentagonal based) tubercles. Flowers silvery-white or pinkish.

Thelocactus multicephalus is a beautiful species with a blue-green marbled stem, completely divided into tubercles. The spines are variable in length, yellowhish, ochre, greyish or brown, straight. The flowers are white to pinkish.

Flowers in various shades of orange.
